First impressions

So, here we are!  After a few days in Seattle, now when everything have gotten a little less confusing i'm ready to write my 1st blog.

The host family that i'm living with is really really nice! They're warm and welcome and we talk quite alot with each other. Their youngest boy Oscar just got so much energy, he's running around, allways talking and he's really adorable :) Their older boy Mitch is also a really nice guy, he plays Football and Saturday we went and watched himself and his team playing. They were amazingly good!

This monday evening, i was invited to come to a cousins birthdayparty together with the family. And when i got there all the people were very welcoming aswell. Especially Kristian's mom, she's a norweigan and she moved to Seattle at the age of 17. So, when i explained that i was from Denmark, she just started speaking norweigan to me. So when i spoke to her during that evening, we were mostly speaking danish/norweigan.

The first day at college was pretty boring, mostly people talking and showing us campus. But they just made those things last SO LONG. It felt like forever, like spending 7 hours with just getting shown the campus, teachers and getting internet acces? But anyways, tuesdays was somewhat better. We went and saw the Space needle + the market. Pretty funny, but we could've usen some  more time at the Pike Place Market. After Tuesdays school, we went to the Mall, and it was huge.  If this is like an average mall, i'm a bit worried about how big a mall can get..

Well, these were pretty much my first impressions in Seattle!

  1. Sounds like everything is going well!!
And getting to speak a little Danish/Norwegian combo had to make you feel great!

And to answer your question..... how big can a mall get?? NO CLUE because just when we think we have the country's biggest mall, some dude builds a bigger one! LOL The American way!
